Suzie the Scientist home-reader series launch 2018
That’s RAD! Science was very pleased to support the launch of the Suzie the Scientist home-reader series in February 2018. The Suzie the Scientist series is “a new take on home-readers linking reading development directly to the Australian Curriculum: Science”. That’s RAD! Science project members Kathy Andrews, Megan Cross and Heidi Walken gave out copies of “My mum is a parasite scientist. That’s RAD!” during the event and talked to teachers and members of P&Cs QLD about the That’s RAD! Science project. Griffith University DVC Engagement Prof Martin Betts and PVC Sciences Prof Andrew Smith, who are great supporters of both STEM projects, were also in attendance.
